When it comes to website authoring, there exist two general opinions as to how a website should be created. The first believes in creating websites that look great, often rendering the website inaccessible to a substantial percentage of the Internet community. The second holds that a website must be created with strict adherence to the standards, often to the detriment of the website's visual appeal. SightSpecific is unique in its approach of creating cutting-edge websites that remain accessible to all.

HTML, the "webpage language," was designed as a means of describing a document structurally, so that any program, on any platform, in any of an infinite number of situations would be able to present this document in a manner that was acceptable to the given situation. A webpage could be presented visually to the visual community, aurally to the blind community, or in a multitude of other manners. And no matter the material, all Internet users would be able to "see" every webpage in its entirety. The need was simple, and HTML was an elegant solution.

Yet with the acceptance of the Internet as a viable means of presenting one's business to current and potential clientele, the need for attractive websites, rather then simply functional websites, arose. And this is where the problems began. It was realized that HTML was never intended as a page design language, and to use it as such often violated the language's rules of syntax and rendered the document inaccessible to a large number of people. Hence the two diverging opinions.

SightSpecific, through an intimate knowledge of the relevant languages, protocols, and web browsers, is unique in its approach of creating visually appealing webpages that remain universally accessible. The twin concepts are central to our entire design process, an ability that is viable because of our experience with the medium. But don't take our word for it; check out our clients' websites and see for yourself.

Whether your website requires a graphically intensive design or a more conservative look, custom JAVA applets and JavaScripts or straight forward content presentation, video and audio, CGI programming, or any of a number of other breaking technologies, SightSpecific can meet your needs.
