SightSpecific, Inc. began towards the end of 1996 in an effort to make official, the work we had been doing for over four years. Since January of 1994, our staff has been creating websites, writing, drawing, publishing, programming, editing audio and video. Today, located just outside Washington, DC, we specialize in all things website, from the initial design, through the creation, to hosting and updating. Our employees, hailing from diverse backgrounds, are fluent in the media of the web: digital art, graphic design, computer programming, network administration, creative and technical writing. Members of our staff, prior to working at SightSpecific, and while working at SightSpecific, have created award-winning websites, been interviewed for inclusion in web-authoring books and magazines, and are heavily involved in the web-authoring community. The SightSpecific website, like all websites created by SightSpecific, Inc. has been created using validated HTML. It has been checked and reviewed using numerous web browsers on numerous platforms to ensure maximum compatibility. It has been read and re-read, proofed and re-proofed, and spell-checked. It has been tested for compatibility with browsers of all types from graphical to text-mode to speech based.
